The first Digital Tourism Tianguis already exceeds 740 registered buyers

The organization of the event is progressing according to plan and is on track to exceed the goal of 1,000 buyers

The organization of the First Digital Tourism Tianguis, which will take place on September 23 and 24, is proceeding according to plan and, so far, there are already more than one hundred confirmed exhibitors, a figure that will continue to grow in the next days.

According to what was reported by CREA, the company in charge of the operation of the event, among these exhibitors are destinations, hotels from both large chains and independent, tour operators and airlines, among others.

Likewise, the number of registered buyers exceeds 740, from thirty countries such as Singapore, Jordan, India, Russia, Ukraine, Switzerland, Israel, South Africa, Spain, Belgium, Italy, United Kingdom, Canada, United States, Philippines, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, as well as most of the Central and South American nations, such as Peru, Ecuador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay and others that will be joining. All of them, through this digital format, will have the opportunity to learn about Mexico's huge tourist offer in destinations, products and services.

In addition, agreements were established with the Mexican Association of Travel Agencies (AMAV) and with the Association for Culture and Tourism of Latin America (Current), to add another 350 companies from Mexico and Latin America, which is expected to exceed the goal of the thousand registered buyers.

The Tianguis Turístico Digital, a business meeting designed with a view to the winter season and the beginning of 2021, will have three areas, starting with the Networking Room, where all participants can interact together and where discussion forums can be held in which any person connected to the platform participates.

The second will be the General Exhibition Hall, where all the exhibitors will meet. Here there will be three forms of interaction between buyers and exhibitors: through group chat, one-on-one chat, and video call.

Finally, there will be an Auditorium where the inauguration of the event, keynote conferences, state and destination seminars, and the presentation of experts talking about trends in the tourism industry will be held.
