Putumayo, Guaviare, Montería, Valledupar, Sincelejo, Amazonas are some of the destinations that will be promoted, as well as municipalities of the Tourist Network of Heritage Villages

New products and destinations with high potential in the country will now be included in the tourist offer of Travel Agencies. The construction of these tourist packages has been carried out over the last few months and was consolidated within the framework of the recent ANATO Virtual Business Round for Tourist Chaining.

“From the Association we have sought to open different scenarios so that the Agencies, together with the other actors in the value chain, design a portfolio that adapts to the demands of today's tourists, but also opens the doors to new products and destinations, ”said Paula Cortés Calle, executive president of ANATO.

Putumayo, Guaviare, Montería, Valledupar, Sincelejo, Amazonas are some of the destinations that will be promoted. Tourism will also be promoted in the municipalities that are part of the Tourist Network of Heritage Towns such as Santa Cruz de Lorica, Córdoba; Jericó, Antioquia; Honda, Tolima; Monguí, Boyacá; Socorro, Santander; and Mompox, Bolívar.

Some of the segments that will be encouraged with the new offer of the Agencies will be eco-tourism, ethno-tourism, adventure tourism, religious, well-being and community; and also plans such as the Premium Cocoa Tour at Casa Rivera, in Córdoba; the trekkings in the Los Nevados Natural Park in Caldas; paragliding in Valle del Cauca and Quindío; cultural identity and night tours.

Likewise, in relation to accommodation establishments, luxury hotels will be sold, as well as inns located in Boyacá (Paipa and Villa de Leyva); in Bolívar (Mompox); in Santander (Girón, Barichara, Guarne, San Gil, Vélez and Floridablanca); in Antioquia, (Jardín, Carmen de Viboral, Rionegro, Guatapé, La Ceja and Marinilla).

The Agencies highlight the need to begin to strengthen relationships with suppliers in order to establish more flexible modification or cancellation policies, and consider it essential to achieve a successful negotiation of rates that allow the creation of packages with attractive prices for the passenger.

It should be noted that the tourist offer of ANATO Travel Agencies will be available through the Todoslosdestinos.com portal, a tool that currently has more than 900 national and international plans.
