Viva Aerobus announces new routes from CDMX to Dallas and Chetumal

With the aim of strengthening the country's connectivity to contribute to the recovery of the air and tourism sector, Viva Aerobus, Mexico's ultra-low-cost airline, announced its new routes from Mexico City to Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) and Chetumal .
The official presentation of the Mexico City - Chetumal route, held today, had the virtual participation of the Governor of Quintana Roo, Carlos Joaquín González, the General Director of the Quintana Roo Tourism Promotion Council, Darío Flota Ocampo and Juan Carlos Zuazua, Director General of Viva Aerobus.
“I am very pleased with the arrival of Viva Aerobus to Chetumal. This new flight that will begin in November from Mexico City, with very competitive prices, will allow the capital of our state to have greater connectivity with a large number of airplane seats. This will also allow us to get closer to Mexico City and provide the opportunity to create new businesses and strengthen tourism both to the Central American area and to the different tourist destinations that the south of the state has ”, mentioned the Governor of Quintana Roo, Carlos Joaquín Gonzalez. “I am sure that this route will be very successful for both Viva and Chetumal. The route between the capital of the country and Chetumal will begin operations on November 12 with 4 flights a week (Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday), offering prices from $ 429 for a single trip, plus the payment for the Airport Use Fee ( TUA).

For its part, flights to Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) will begin on November 13 with 3 frequencies a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with prices starting at $ 109 for a single trip.

Viva Aerobus continues to increase its flight offer in line with the recovery trends in the sector. In this sense, the airline has already launched 10 new routes for sale on the way to the new normal (5 national and 5 international), thus satisfying the flight needs of passengers and leveraging its presence within the domestic and international market. From Monterrey, Viva launched the new routes to San Antonio and Dallas Fort Worth (DFW); and from Mexico City to Houston, Los Angeles, Tampico, Veracruz, Acapulco, La Paz and now, to Chetumal and DFW.
