NH Hotel Group announces new Managing Director of the America Business Unit
Christian José Daghelinckx will be in charge of Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Uruguay, Cuba and Ecuador

Christian José Daghelinckx has served as Commercial Director for America and as Regional General Director for Conosur of NH Hotel Group, among other notable positions. Following this appointment, the executive is in charge of 10 countries and 54 hotels to continue with the group's expansion plan in the region under the NH Hotels and NH Collection brands, as well as the arrival of Nhow in conjunction with the strategy and investment of the MINOR Hotels portfolio with products such as Anantara, Avani, Tivoli, among others, and simultaneously the challenge of carrying out the chain's hotel reactivation and reopening plan in America is added.
NH Hotel Group has distinguished itself by high standards and quality in major cities such as Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Santiago de Chile and Bogotá, allowing staggered growth and investment in the region. Currently, Latin America represents around 18% of the NH Hotel Group portfolio.
Daghelinckx is based in Buenos Aires and reports directly to the Company's headquarters, located in Madrid. Joins the team of managers of the business units of North and South Europe; Marteen Markus and Hugo Rovira respectively, being in charge of operations, commercial strategy, as well as expansion and investment plans for the region.
“During the last months, we have worked tirelessly to adapt the operations of all our hotels in the region with the new health protocols, under the Feel Safe at NH concept, to guarantee the safety of our guests and collaborators. The gradual reopening of our properties in America encourages us in this new scenario, which we trust will show the reactivation of tourist activity, ”says Daghelinckx.

Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Christian José Daghelinckx has more than 15 years of experience in the hotel sector, in renowned international hotel chains such as Accor, Faena and for the last six years in the multinational NH Hotel Group part of Minor.
Graduated from the University of El Salvador with Magna Cum Laude recognition in the Tourism degree, Daghelinckx's experience stands out in the high performance and positioning of the urban and luxury hotel segment in Argentina. From new hotel product openings, implementation of new revenue optimization systems, marketing strategy, to the management of the commercial team of the America business unit at NH Hotel Group, Daghelinckx stands out for being an innovative and creative leader with a great passion for service and high-level hospitality.
