Guatemala strengthens its connectivity with Aeroméxico
The Mexican firm today restarted its operations at La Aurora International Airport with three flights a week to CDMX
Aeroméxico has been connecting Mexico with Guatemala for more than 9 years, a destination located north of Central America that has a unique cultural richness, a great natural environment, diverse customs and a religious mysticism from their Mayan heritage, so they have impressive handicrafts, gastronomy, sacred temples, archaeological sites, and endless attractions for visitors.
On behalf of Aeroméxico, Giancarlo Mulinelli, Senior Vice President of Global Sales, José Fernando del Cid, Commercial Manager of Guatemala and Rafael Sardá Samayoa, Airport Manager, coincide in that this destination is very important for Aeroméxico, and they reinforce that all actions joint ventures with both the Guatemalan Institute of Tourism (INGUAT) and the airport are indispensable to continue strengthening ties and improving connectivity at the destination.
The Director General of INGUAT, Mynor Cordón expressed “We are convinced that connectivity air translates into the diversification of options to reach a destination and Guatemala is prepared to receive travelers who for different reasons decide to arrive in our country for this via, the Heart of the Mayan World awaits you and is complying with the security protocols established. His visit becomes an incentive for the economy of our country ”.
