Los Cauquenes announced that it obtained after an arduous process, the certification of its protocols with the German company TUV NORD and also revalidated its membership with the Hotels More Green program.
Staying active and ready for the next opening, the hotel announced that it had completed the virtual certification process for all its protocols with the renowned German company TUV NORD, one of the largest and most recognized Certification, Inspection and Testing entities in the world.
"Being closed in this context was undoubtedly a complex moment for all the hotels in the country, however in Los Cauquenes we set ourselves the goal of making use of this time to implement all the actions that create an absolutely safe space for reopening", reflects Natalia Tello, Hotel Operations Manager.
“The international Tuv Nord certification makes a difference for the international market, whose guest is very demanding regarding the new hotel operation after a pandemic. From the infrastructure, hygiene protocols, services and technology, everything includes creating a Covid Free environment for our guests, ”says Tello.
The implemented protocols take into account the regulations in force in the Argentine Republic, the IRAM EDP 3820: 2020 standard and other recommendations issued by internationally recognized organizations, such as the World Health Organization or the Pan American Health Organization, as well as the recommendations from other institutions in the sector. Los Cauquenes, in line with its sustainable hotel policy defined from the moment of its inauguration, has just revalidated its seal of the Greenest Hotels program granted by the AHT (Association of Tourism Hotels).
“Beyond the pandemic, for us defining and sustaining our sustainable policies is fundamental. It has to do with our vision of hotel operation, integrated with its environment, with the community and collaborating to leave a better world for our children ”, concludes Tello.
The More Green Hotels program is the result of the work of the Association of Tourism Hotels of the Argentine Republic (AHT). It is validated by the Argentine Institute for Standardization and Certification (IRAM), recognized by the National Ministry of Tourism and by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), placing it at the level of the most prestigious sustainable tourism certification programs in the world.
