New Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism in Peru
María Magdalena Seminario Marón is the new head of the Ministry. The official had been Vice Minister of Tourism and Director of Tourism Promotion of Promperú
In a ceremony held in the Court of Honor of the Government Palace, the President of the Republic, Manuel Merino de Lama, took the oath of María Magdalena Seminario Marón as Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism.
In this way, he joins the team led by Ántero Flores-Aráoz, president of the Council of Ministers (PCM).
The new holder of the Mincetur has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Piura and a Master in Communication and Political Marketing from the University of La Rioja (Spain). She is also a graduate of the 2010 Senior Management Program of the School of Management of the University of Piura, Executive Coach, certified by INCAE (Central American Institute of Business Administration).
He has thirty years of professional activity and has held management positions in companies and private organizations. She held the positions of Vice Minister of Tourism (2010-2011) and Director of Tourism Promotion of Promperú (2006-2009).
