Foro MICE opens a new stage
The association of incentive agencies I´M + joins its structure
Foro MICE welcomes I'M +, the business association that represents agencies specialized in incentives in Spain. And especially to its president, Juan Ignacio Collado, who joins the Board of Directors as a member.
At present, I´M + represents almost 50 specialized agencies committed to the development of incentives and whose vocation is to provide responsible and innovative solutions to their clients and associates, to tourism in general and MICE in particular.
Its president, Matilde Almandoz, highlighted the relevance of this incorporation "which enriches the representativeness of the incentive activity within the sector, becoming another of the strategic partners in the MICE industry". He also highlighted "the importance of associationism at this time in an industry that is being weakened by the circumstances that surround it, where this type of collaboration adds up to reaching common objectives."
Ignacio Collado, as a member and member of the Board of Directors of Foro MICE has pointed out that “with the incorporation of I´M + the virtuous circle that Foro MICE represents is completed: all acronyms that compose it are perfectly represented. Strategically, we have much more strength when facing the new scenario that is presented and that requires us to be more united than ever. I´M +, through its associates, contributes to the Forum our resilience, our specialization in change management and the facility to offer valuable and responsible solutions. From I´M + we have important objectives such as the promotion of sustainability in our industry, specialized training, the competitiveness of our companies and professionals and ultimately to make visible the importance of MICE tourism in the economy of our country.
Thus, the Board of Directors is made up of the president, Matilde Almandoz (president of OPC Spain); the vice president, Germán Inostroza (president of SITE Spain); the treasurer, Fay Taylor (president of SpainDMC's) and the secretary, Christoph Tessmar (president of ICCA).
