Dominican Republic implements digital form for incoming and outgoing passengers
The measure that will be in effect from November 25 greatly streamlines customs and migration processes
In order to streamline and modernize customs and migration processes, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Health, the General Directorate of Migration and the General Directorate of Customs signed an agreement to digitize processes as of November 25.
David Collado, Minister of Tourism mentioned: "This signing of an agreement for the implementation of a digital form was consulted by international organizations and is a step forward for tourism and the Dominican Republic."
Eduardo Sanz Lovatón, Director General of Customs commented: "this digital form so that those who visit us can do it with greater comfort and magnificence and safety for their health".
Regarding this initiative, Paola Rainieri, president of Asonahores stated: "This digital form will simplify customs and migration processes, in addition to the processes for visitors who will be able to fill out the form before arriving in the country."
