Viva Aerobus begins the year with important news
The airline increases flights from CDMX to Houston and announces a new route Cancun - Houston
Viva Aerobus, Mexico's ultra-low-cost airline, strengthens its presence in Houston with its new route from Cancun and with the increase in flights from Mexico City and Monterrey to said American city this month.
Cancun - Houston is already in operation with one flight a week. Likewise, Viva increased its operation at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport this January by offering up to 6 flights a week from Mexico City, a route just launched last year, and up to 11 weekly frequencies from Monterrey.
As a result, Viva Aerobus registers an increase of 185% in its flight offer from / to Houston compared to the first quarter of 2020, offering more than 92 thousand seats contemplating its regular routes from Mexico City, Cancun and Monterrey; as well as the Guadalajara - Houston seasonal route, which will be available until January 9.
Viva already has 8 routes in Texas, flying from Dallas and San Antonio to Mexico City and Monterrey; and from Houston to Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey and, now, to Cancun.
Viva Aerobus recalls that it has implemented the comprehensive Viva Contigo prevention and hygiene program; as well as a new flexibility policy. On the one hand, it established additional disinfection processes in aircrafts and common areas, safe distance guidelines, use of face masks, among many other actions. On the other hand, charges for flight changes were permanently eliminated. Now, passengers who need to change the date, time or route on national or international flights may do so without extra charges, paying only the fare difference, if any.
