Copa Airlines announced that it will resume flights with a Boeing 737-800 from January 11
As of January 11, 2021, Copa Airlines will begin operations between the Monterrey General Mariano Escobedo International Airport, and the Hub of the Americas, located at the Tocumen International Airport, in Panama City. This operation will allow the HUB in northern Mexico to be reconnected at the Monterrey International Airport with the routes that Copa Airlines is currently operating.

The airline will initially operate up to 2 weekly frequencies connecting from Monterrey to Panama. Flight CM136 will operate departing from the City of Monterrey at 08:52 AM and arriving in Panama at 02:16 PM. The return flight, CM135, will depart Panama at 10:23 AM, arriving in Monterrey at 01:53 PM. For this flight, Copa Airlines will operate the Boeing 737-800 aircraft with the capacity to transport 160 passengers, 16 in business class and 144 in the main cabin.
Tickets for this flight are available and can be purchased through Copa.com and travel agencies. Passengers who have a valid ticket with Copa Airlines will be able to manage date changes without charging a change penalty.
