Guatemala will seek to position itself as a destination during the OAS General Assembly


The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Minex) confirmed that in 2021 the Central American country will host the event in which foreign ministers from more than 30 countries will participate
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Minex) confirmed that in 2021 Guatemala will host the 51st General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS), in which foreign ministers from more than 30 countries will participate.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pedro Brolo, shared that during this important event the country seeks to position itself internationally as a tourist and cultural destination.
It should be noted that Guatemala has hosted the General Assembly of the OAS in 1986 (Guatemala City), 1999 (Guatemala City) and 2013 (Antigua Guatemala).
