Amadeus and Wooba partner to offer more personalized reservations
The company is the first partner to implement the auxiliary services of Amadeus in Brazil and Mexico, expanding the reservation possibilities for its customers and offering a better service
Today, Wooba has become the first Amadeus technology partner in Brazil and Mexico to implement the Amadeus ancillary services application in their systems. In this way, your customers will have access to all the content such as preferred seats, additional luggage, priority boarding and other services of the airlines that have an agreement with Amadeus for such products.
Amadeus customers using the leading booking platform, Selling Platform Connect, already had access to book ancillary services from partner airlines, and now join all companies using the Wooba platform, including major travel agencies and consolidators.
A trend in these difficult times is the purchase of complementary services to the ticket, which increases traveler satisfaction and complements the income of agencies and airlines.
With the integration, hundreds of Wooba customers will have more options to increase their income and diversify the portfolio of services they offer to their travelers. In compliance with the partnership, Amadeus and Wooba technical teams worked together remotely during the pandemic, making all adjustments for the launch of production.
"In this recovery of tourism, Wooba is focused on supporting its customers and partners, helping to further improve its business model, allowing it to add much more value to its services. Therefore, the partnership with Amadeus is valuable. , and the implementation of the auxiliary services allows the travel agent to offer the traveler a personalization and a comfortable experience, within an easy service mechanism for the consultant. We are convinced that joint work is essential to overcome the crisis that it affects the industry, "said Wooba CEO Jackson Andrade.
"Wooba's use of our ancillary services API opens up a new horizon for many customers during the current industry recovery scenario. During this return mode, what companies need is to generate revenue on several fronts, improving their service and loyalty to the traveler ", said Paulo Rezende, commercial director of Amadeus for South America. “This partnership is a milestone in the way in which it is possible to act firmly to offer a solution, even when working remotely.
