Viva Aerobus will offer discounts on Covid-19 tests
Thu April 01, 2021

The Mexican low-cost airline has closed agreements with laboratories to offer passengers exclusive rates in rapid antigen tests or PCR

Viva Aerobus signed a strategic alliance to offer its passengers preferential prices so that they can perform rapid antigen tests or PCR tests and determine the presence of COVID-19 in the different branches of Laboratorio Médico Polanco or Laboratorios Ruiz, adding to another existing agreement with Aries Diagnostic Group.

Although these medical exams are required to fly to countries like the United States, all Viva passengers, regardless of their destination, can take advantage of this initiative to take care of their health. These agreements aim to contribute to the care of the health and well-being of all, providing tranquility and confidence to passengers, mainly within the framework of the reactivation of tourism during the Easter holiday season.

To access this exclusive promotion, passengers must call the telephone numbers of the participating laboratories, available on the Viva Aerobus website for Grupo Aries and Laboratorio Médico Polanco and Laboratorios Ruiz. When communicating, they must provide their reservation code, prior to making their flight, and follow the instructions of the staff to schedule their appointment.

Both tests are a reliable, agile and accessible option for all travelers, being performed through a pharyngeal and / or nasopharyngeal process. On the one hand, the results of the antigen test are delivered in 20 minutes and those of the PCR the next day, which can be consulted via email or on the laboratory's website.

This alliance is one more result of the comprehensive prevention and hygiene plan that the airline has implemented since the beginning of the pandemic and that includes additional disinfection processes in aircraft and common areas, safe distance guidelines, use of face masks, among many other actions.
