Ávoris and MITUR carry out FamTrip for the Caribbean
It has been organized by the tour operator in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic, through the Tourist Promotion Office (OPT)
The familiarization trip is made up of 52 professionals, including travel agents, journalists from the Spanish tourism specialized press, staff of the Ávoris tour operators and representative of the OPT in Spain, to get to know first-hand the main attractions and security measures of Dominican Republic.
The main objective of the event is to promote the country as a tourist and safe destination among Spanish travelers, who have always preferred Quisqueya as their favorite long-distance place.
The group arrived in the country on Saturday night through the Punta Cana International Airport aboard the Iberojet aircraft. They will develop a broad work schedule from April 11 to 18, 2021, in various locations in the Dominican Republic.
During their stay, professionals and specialized journalists will learn about the main tourist attractions that the Dominican Republic has and the measures adopted by the public and private sectors that guarantee the health, safety and well-being of tourists at the present time that the world lives.
Those attending this Mega Fam Trip will obtain a broad vision of the offer and experiences of the destination Punta Cana, La Romana, Saona Island and Santo Domingo, such as gastronomy, culture, shopping, leisure and sports, and its hotel facilities.
