Authorities from Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Panama and Jamaica meet in Cancun
Within the framework of the WTTC Summit, tourism officials from the countries have dialogued with the purpose of developing multi-destination products in the region
Yesterday there was an intense first day at the WTTC Summit that takes place to this day in Cancun, Quintana Roo. The paradisiacal Mexican city has received the visit of more than 600 top authorities and executives of the tourism industry.
One of the most outstanding meetings of the day has been the one held by Miguel Torruco, Secretary of Tourism Mexico; David Collado, Minister of Tourism of the Dominican Republic; Ivan Eskildsen, Administrator of the Panama Tourism Authority and Edmund Bartlett, Minister of Tourism of Jamaica.
The objective of the board is to advance in the development of multi-destination initiatives in the region in order to recover the number of international visitors and boost jobs.
