According to ANATO, the Tourist Showcase will be the starting point for the reactivation
The event will be held in person from June 16 to 18 in Corferias, Bogotá
In 1982, ANATO became the pioneer union in holding events that promoted the commercialization of tourism products and services, bringing together all the actors in the value chain.
In 2020 this meeting was a success, breaking records in the number of visitors and participation of exhibitors and co-exhibitors, demonstrating that industry entrepreneurs are increasingly interested in joining this event, which allows the construction and strengthening of their commercial alliances .
“In 2021 and with 40 uninterrupted years, the Tourism Showcase opens the doors again to the realization of events, fairs and face-to-face conventions. This last year has been difficult for the country and for the world, but we are sure that the development of this space will be the starting point for the sustainability of companies and a faster reactivation of tourism ”, said Paula Cortés Calle, president ANATO executive.
The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism; the National Tourism Fund; Bogotá-Cundinamarca and Argentina, guest destinations of honor for this version, and the 32 departments of Colombia; They have expressed their support for the event, trusting in the great contribution that it will bring to the recovery of the sector.
"Likewise, the participation as exhibitors of companies from Mexico, Guatemala, Brazil, Cuba, Panama, Peru, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Russia and Egypt, ratify the confidence of the world in us, preparing a wide range of products to market with suppliers that they will congregate there. Likewise, the recent announcement by the Mayor's Office of Bogotá, to open all sectors of the economy as of June 8, has given greater optimism to tourism and those who will be part of the ANATO 2021 Tourist Showcase ”, said the union leader.
It should be noted that the event will have all the biosecurity measures required to guarantee the safety of the participants, such as prior registration through the official website, controlled capacity through technological means, and suggested one-way routes to avoid crowds, etc.
