The National Parks of Argentina receive the Safe Travels seal from the WTTC
INPROTUR Executive Secretary Ricardo Sosa delivered the seal to the President of the Administration of National Parks Lautaro Erratchú
In a coordinated work between the National Institute for Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR) and the Administration of National Parks (APN), and from the review of the protocols formulated by each National Park, the Safe Travels seal was adhered to the entire system of areas protected. This implies its coincidence with the protocols elaborated by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Nation and, in turn, with the global protocols of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC).
On the other hand, and considering that National Parks will be a fundamental piece in the recovery of post-pandemic tourism activity, lines of work and the commitment between both organizations were deepened to exchange information and resources necessary for the formulation of the International Promotion Strategy in Protected Areas of the Argentine Republic, promoted by INPROTUR. In addition, progress was made in developing joint intelligence reports.
The Safe Travels seal is an international distinction to which companies and destinations - municipal and provincial - can adhere from the voluntary application for membership. The process in our country is agile and effective, based on an executive request and validation mechanism, supervised and executed by INPROTUR and involving the participation of all provincial authorities through the Federal Tourism Council (CFT), and the private sector by through the Argentine Chamber of Tourism (CAT).
