Royal Caribbean International's Rhapsody of the Seas will become the hit of the summer when it departs for the Mediterranean in May 2022, on a mix of new, immersive and varied itineraries departing from Greece, Italy, Spain and Israel.
Joining the previously announced European lineup, including our guest favorite Anthem of the Seas and the all-new Odyssey of the Seas; Rhapsody expands into a bold summer with new ways to explore more than 25 must-see destinations in the Greek Islands, southern France, Italy, Turkey, Croatia and more. The new Summer 2022 sailings on the Rhapsody are available starting today.
Starting May 23, Rhapsody will kick off the summer with a 7-night cruise vacation departing from Rome and Ravenna, Italy; Athens, Greece and Barcelona, Spain that will leave your mouth open. Guests can choose from a combination of itineraries between the Greek and the Adriatic, the Greek Islands and the Western Mediterranean that include visits to historic and culturally rich ports of call, such as Split, Croatia; Cannes and Nice, France; Crete and Mykonos, Greece and Florence and Sicily, Italy.
The summer hit list for Royal Caribbean cruises in Europe continues in August when Rhapsody sets sail for Israel, homeport to Haifa - a first for the cruise line - until October 31. With an engaging lineup of 3-8 night round trip itineraries to Greece, the Greek Islands, and Cyprus, travelers will be able to immerse themselves in culture and learn about legacy destinations from Ancient Greece such as Limassol, Cyprus, and Athens, Greece and marvel at the striking natural beauty of the eastern Mediterranean coastline, on the way. Adventures are also awaiting guests who step off the ship to explore the Greek Islands of Santorini, Rhodes, and Mykonos, renowned for their quiet beaches and picturesque coastal villages.
From beach to beach, travelers aboard the Rhapsody can vacation in style and comfort.
For starters, deck attractions include: pools, hot tubs, a climbing wall, an outdoor movie screen, and the Vitality Spa & Fitness Center. Foodies will find it difficult to choose from the plethora of restaurants ranging from Italian food at Giovanni's Table to Izumi, the best place to eat sushi at sea.
Rhapsody also offers activities for every traveler and family day and night, such as our Royal Caribbean show billboard, our world-renowned bars, entertainment centers, lounges and the Royal Caribbean Adventures for Europe to Debut in 2022 casino.
