INGUAT recognizes Aeromexico for its 10 years of operations in Guatemala
The Guatemalan Tourism Institute has recognized the Mexican airline for its fundamental role in the development of the country's tourism sector
Aeroméxico celebrated the tenth anniversary of its route to Guatemala from Mexico City, with a press conference organized by the Guatemalan Tourism Institute (INGUAT). The airline has an offer of 14 weekly flights and more than 12 thousand seats per month between the two countries.
During these years, more than 88 thousand crew members have made possible the operation of the route to and from Guatemala, one of the most diverse countries in the world, and the main destinations in Central America for tourism. It stands out for its pre-Hispanic Mayan heritage, the cultural richness that it contributes through its archeology, traditions, and its great cultural and gastronomic environment.
It is internationally known as "Guatemala Heart of the Mayan World" and has three destinations named as World Cultural and Natural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO: the Tikal National Park, La Antigua Guatemala and the Quiriguá Archaeological Park.

Aeroméxico's Mexico City - Guatemala route is operated with Embraer 190 equipment that has 11 seats in Premier Class and 88 in economy class. The airline reiterates its commitment to continue to gradually strengthen its operation to continue offering more and better options to its customers.
