Colombia intensifies tourism recovery with an event in Santa Marta
With the "Reactivation Fair" the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism seeks to make available to businessmen, entrepreneurs and tourist promoters of Magdalena, all the offer of services and programs
Next Thursday, July 22, from 9 am to 4 pm, at the Estelar Santamar Hotel and Santa Marta Convention Center, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, with the support of Cotelco and the Santa Marta Chamber of Commerce, will bring held the 'Reactivation Fair' for businessmen, entrepreneurs and tourist promoters of the department.
Entities such as Fontur, Procolombia, iNNpulsa, Colombia Productiva, Bancóldex, National Guarantee Fund, Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, Fiducoldex and Artesanías de Colombia will participate in the Fair.
Visitors will receive personalized assistance on the foreign trade, business development and tourism promotion programs in which they can participate, as well as the lines of financing under favorable conditions from Bancóldex, with the possibility of accessing the guarantees offered by the National Guarantee Fund.
“After the successful first edition of the 'Reactivation Fair' in Quindío, we moved to the department of Magdalena to bring solutions to our businessmen, entrepreneurs and tourism promoters. Our interest is that all Colombians know and can access the offer of programs and services that we have to support them in this phase of safe economic reactivation ”, affirmed Minister Lombana.
The Fair will be held within the framework of the 'III Meeting of the Colombian Caribbean tourist chain 2021', organized by Cotelco Magdalena and where the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, María Ximena Lombana, and the President of Colombia Productiva, Camilo Fernández de Soto, will launch the 'Clúster Más Pro' strategy, an initiative that seeks to benefit around 163 clusters in the country, providing them with technical support and tools that allow them to be more efficient in the development of new goods and services.
This event will take place on Thursday, July 22, at 4 pm, in the Simón Bolívar Great Room of the Santa Marta Convention Center.
Similarly, during the Fair the Vice Ministry of Tourism and Fontur will be providing personalized advice to tourism promoters in the formulation, implementation and monitoring of projects for the development and growth of the sector in Colombia, construction and improvement of tourism infrastructure, promotion and marketing of destinations and professionalization of tourist services.
This support space will allow tourism promoters to resolve concerns about programs such as the network of tourist information points throughout the country and the Youth Card, which seeks tourist loyalty for young people between 14 and 28 years old, and the 'Certified Check-in '.
Additionally, there will be a space for the exhibition of products from local enterprises, under the umbrella of the 'Compra Lo Nuestro' program, which seeks to encourage the consumption of goods and services produced in the country.
Finally, during the day, Minister Lombana will carry out a 'Dialogue Table' with authorities, unions and businessmen of the department to know first-hand their needs and requirements in this phase of safe economic reactivation.
