Costa Rica and AVIANCA join commercial alliance
The Colombian airline will make available preferential rates on routes to promote regional tourism
The stage of tourist reactivation in Central America is conducive to the establishment of alliances that allow to put destinations in the minds of travelers. In this sense, Costa Rica aspires to continue positioning itself as an ideal post-COVID-19 paradise and for this it has joined forces with Avianca to promote promotional actions within the framework of the Central America 200 campaign.
Air connectivity is a key element for the competitiveness of destinations, which is why the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) together with one of the leading airlines in the region will promote preferential rates from July 26 to August 1, 2021 with The purpose is to encourage tourism and satisfy the interest of visitors who want to know this Central American destination.
As a result of this effort, Avianca will make available preferential rates on routes with strong rate competition to promote regional tourism, thus facilitating the attraction of tourists from potential Central American markets such as Guatemala and El Salvador.
The promotion and marketing actions are carried out within the framework of the Central America 200 campaign promoted by the Central American Tourism Promotion Agency (CATA), which seeks to promote ties of brotherhood and regional identity, as well as establish Strategic alliances with allies in the tourism sector for the reactivation of the industry.
