NH Hotel Group has donated books and toys with its campaign "Sharing smiles"
The initiative is part of the Together with love activity and the corporate volunteering of the company's employees worldwide
NH Hotel Group, consolidated multinational operator and one of the urban hotel companies of reference in Europe and America, held the event “Sharing smiles”, with the presentation of Rafael Pombo's piece Simón el bobito, donated by Samadhi Creativo, a group led by Eric Bernal, founded in 2007 to work on audiovisual creation. In 2014 they expanded their offer to theatrical presentations, and this time they wanted to link their art to social work.
Simón el bobito was presented live to 60 children from the Fundación Amiguitos Royal at the NH Collection Bogotá Teleport Royal, respecting all the biosafety protocols indicated by the Feel Safe at NH program. And it was broadcast via streaming to the children of the Casita de Belén de Cali, Ángeles de Cartagena and Los Ángeles de Barranquilla Foundations. In Bogotá, in addition, trend influencers Kathy Solano, Carolina Bernal and Julián Gómez attended, who shared games and gave gifts.
In Medellín, for their part, some boys from the Acarpin Foundation enjoyed a special visit from the NH Collection Medellín Royal, whose spokespersons brought them puppets, snacks, gifts and recreation, thanks to which they spent a morning marked by smiles, tenderness and the fraternity.
The call for the donation of books and toys was made in the five cities of Colombia where NH Hotel Group has a presence. “The NH teams contributed from their different areas to the development of the initiative and accompanied the children in a fun and cultural afternoon, thanks to the“ Citizenship mindset ”concept, which seeks to thank and help the most vulnerable, always thinking about give them unforgettable moments ”, expressed Oscar Restrepo, Regional Managing Director for Colombia and Ecuador of NH Hotel Group. Similarly, the company Club Editor SA participated in the book donation.
This is how the company contributes to a better quality of life for children linked to these foundations, also seeking to "feed their spirit" with plays and books, activities that open up the cultural universe for them in a playful way.
