Costa Rica will host the Annual Conference of the International Association of Congress Centers (AIPC) to be held at the Costa Rica Convention Center (CCCR) in July 2022. Having

Gustavo Segura, Minister of Tourism stated that Costa Rica hosting this event is a sign that meeting tourism, which the ICT has used as a strategy for a few years, has borne tangible results.

The AIPC represents 180 Convention Centers in 60 countries around the world, its objective is to promote and recognize excellence in the management of Convention Centers, at the same time it aims to provide the tools to achieve high standards through its research and education programs. and networks. In the past, this association had certified the Costa Rica Convention Center for its quality standards in its highest category: Gold.
