INGUAT presents a tourist route to commemorate the Bicentennial
The initiative covers 200 sites distributed in the seven regions of the country
In commemoration of the 200 years of the Independence of Guatemala, INGUAT has selected 200 sites of tourist interest distributed in the seven tourist regions of the country, as a cartographic viewer, with which various options for tours are suggested.
The General Director, Mynor Cordón pointed out “The National Route has places of tourist interest considered for their historical value, cultural representativeness or natural importance, with which we continue to promote tourist reactivation in a safe and gradual way, offering options to individuals or family groups. both nationals and foreigners, to carry out these visits always practicing responsible tourism ”.
This initiative has been carried out by the INGUAT work team, through the Studies and Projects Section with the collaboration of the Cultural Heritage Section of the Tourism Planning department through the Tourist Geographic Information System (SIGTUR).
