The first tourists attracted by initiatives such as Panama Black Week and Vacutur begin to arrive

The administrator of the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP), Iván Eskildsen, received at the Tocumen International Airport the first charter flight of the Ecuadorian airline Aeroregional, which came from Quito-Ecuador, with 64 passengers, whose stay in the country it will be 4 nights; These are motivated by initiatives developed by the ATP in conjunction with the private sector such as Panama Black Week and Vacutur, a vaccination program for international tourists promoted by the National Government, which began last Friday, October 1 of this year.

Tourists will visit places of interest such as the Old Town of the city, La Calzada de Amador, the Panama Canal and Guna Yala, as well as the main commercial centers of the capital.

On this flight came at least 10 Ecuadorian influencers who will promote the tourist sites of Panama, its natural and cultural wealth; the biodiversity and history of the isthmus, as well as the wonder of its 2 oceans, with the aim of motivating more travelers to live the experiences of a country, which has managed to be recognized by UNESCO as a leader in the region for the innovative model of sustainable tourism that it develops.

Aeroregional also confirmed an upcoming flight from Peru with around 140 passengers, some of whom have arranged an appointment for their vaccination in Panama, and promotion is also maintained for future frequencies between Guatemala and Panama.
