The National Hospitality Congress and ExpoCotelco begins in Cartagena
The two-day event has the motto "It is time for the reunion, an opportunity for Colombian tourism"
Yesterday began the National Hospitality Congress and ExpoCotelco, the 2-day event is held in Cartagena de Indias and provides a space for hoteliers to diversify the offer to new consumers, which allow generating new income models for this industry. The motto of this edition is "It is time to meet again, an opportunity for Colombian tourism."
The Meta Department has been the guest of honor and has an outstanding participation.
Industry experts and government representatives have traveled to the paradisiacal Colombian destination to be present.
Flavia Santoro, President of ProColombia, stated: "I feel very honored to participate in this new edition of the National Hospitality Congress and ExpoCotelco. This meeting is a very important step for the reactivation of the sector."
"We have a policy in favor of sustainability, we are one of the 12 countries in the world that does it," said the official and also highlighted that the country is promoting air connectivity with new destinations.
This year the program has an academic agenda that will address topics such as diversification, quality and sustainability of the hotel businesses, which will include the trade fair.
Additionally, within the framework of the National Hospitality Congress and ExpoCotelco 2021, an important business conference is held.
