Aerolineas Argentinas announced more flights for October and November
The flag carrier will increase daily and weekly services to Brazil and Chile
In the framework of the ABAV Tourism Fair, in which they participate in conjunction with INPROTUR to promote Argentina abroad, the flag airline announced increases in daily and weekly flights to Brazil and Chile.
The Commercial Manager of the airline, Fabián Lombardo and the Executive Secretary of INPROTUR, Ricardo Sosa, announced that Aerolineas Argentinas will have, as of October 18, a daily flight from São Paulo, a daily flight from Santiago de Chile and two weekly flights from Rio de Janeiro, all bound for the Jorge Newbery International Airport, better known as Aeroparque.
In addition, Lombardo confirmed that "as of November 1, frequencies will continue to increase, since there will be two daily flights from São Paulo, two daily flights from Santiago de Chile and three weekly flights from Rio de Janeiro."
While Sosa assured that "all international frequencies will have a connection with the 35 national destinations with which Aerolineas Argentinas connects, giving foreign tourists the possibility of visiting any Argentine province with the federal character that we work with."
On the other hand, Fabián Lombardo revealed that they have already had a high demand for reserves from both countries: "13 thousand reservations have already been made in the five days of the campaign, of which 10,000 are from Brazil and 3,000 from Chili".
Likewise, the Executive Secretary of INPROTUR, Ricardo Sosa, also spoke about the announcement: “we reached 50% of vaccinated with two doses and the opening of borders is a reality. These frequencies will help to recover the flow of international tourists in our country and the results are already in sight with the high amount of reservations obtained by Aerolineas Argentinas. We work together with our Minister, Matías Lammens, and with the airline to think and execute strategies and to be able to reactivate the sector as quickly as possible ”.
“During this visit to Brazil, we also met with several airlines, with Decolar, CVC, Agaxtur and many other important players in the sale of packages to Argentina. We have a very favorable exchange rate for Brazilian tourists and a variety of destinations and experiences for them to enjoy our country ”, added Sosa, who heads the delegation at the fair.
