Itapemirim, the new Brazilian airline, confirmed its interest in flying to Argentina in 2022, after the meeting held by the Executive Secretary of INPROTUR, Ricardo Sosa, with the company's Commercial Director, Fabiano Oliveira, during one of the conferences held at the Abav 2021 Fair in Fortaleza, Brazil.
Sosa and the Argentine delegation went to Brazil with the aim of promoting commercial aviation development. And in this context is the meeting with the Brazilian airline, recognized in that country for being a fundamental axis in the ground transportation system and that recently began a successful foray into the commercial aviation field.
Sosa pointed out that during the meeting they presented to the representative of the company all the tourism potential that Argentina has, providing details of the steps that can be taken to continue feeding the connectivity between the two countries.
For his part, Oliveira was enthusiastic about the possibility of starting to fly to Buenos Aires. "We are generating new internal destinations in Brazil, but the challenge of flying to Buenos Aires makes us very happy, we will soon be there" and he stressed that the destination could be the company's first international corridor and would also use a new aircraft that it acquires. the company.
The steps will continue over the next few days and shows the decision to invest that the airlines have. As it will be recalled, INPROTUR had already made arrangements in Colombia for the arrival of Viva Air and a few months later the companies officially presented the flight plan in their country, which was one of the first concretions in this regard.
