Baha Mar will celebrate the second edition of its tennis tournament for charity purposes
The program includes various competitions with legends and coincides with Taste of SLS, an event of culinary experiences with prestigious chefs and the performance of the multi-Grammy winner John Legend
From November 5 to 6, Baha Mar, the resort located on the beaches of Nassau, together with Mark Knowles, former professional tennis player and multiple Grand Slam champion, will present the second edition of the Baha Mar Tennis Cup tournament, an event fundraising for the Baha Mar Foundation and the Mark Knowles Children's Tennis Initiative.
Baha Mar Tennis Cup contará con la presencia de leyendas de este deporte como Andy Roddick, Victoria Azarenka, Mark Knowles, James Blake y Cliff Drysdale, entre otros, quienes se debatirán con aficionados del tenis en un torneo Pro-Am, además de participar en torneos de exhibición con invitados sorpresa. Los eventos deportivos se llevarán dentro de Baha Mar Racquet Club, espacio dedicado a la práctica de tenis profesional con nueve canchas de variadas superficies como duras, de arcilla y de pasto. La cena de clausura del torneo estará a cargo del chef Marcus Samuelsson, dentro de su nuevo spot gastronómico Marcus at Baha Mar Fish + Chop.
Within the framework of the Baha Mar Tennis Cup, attendees will be able to enjoy the Taste of SLS festival, an exclusive culinary experience presided over by the chefs of Carna, Katsuya, Fi'lia and Cleo who will show their talent through live cooking demonstrations. The evening will conclude with a performance by celebrated singer, songwriter, actor and producer, John Legend, at SLS Baha Mar.
The funds raised in the Baha Mar Tennis Cup will be donated to the Baha Mar Foundation which is committed to building a favorable future for The Bahamas and one of its main pillars is supporting the community. The Foundation operates through volunteering and financial donations in different initiatives, ranging from efforts in favor of sustainability to support for local culture.
