Puerto Plata Bridal successfully closes its third edition
The event promotes the Dominican tourist destination for weddings and events
The third version of Puerto Plata Bridal, a fair aimed at the bridal sector, was held with great success from November 19 to 21, at the Hotel Emotions By Hodelpa facilities, whose delivery was dedicated to La Vereda Wedding Planner & Events, in honor of the trajectory of more than three decades of its directors Bismarck Morales and Junior Jorge.
The fair was the setting for more than thirty exhibitors, including pastry chefs, dress rental houses, banquet companies, photographers, wedding and event organizers, jewelry, flower shop, and tourism operators from the Puerto Plata provinces, María Trinidad Sànchez , Moca, Santiago, La Vega, San Francisco de Macoris, Santo Domingo and San José de Ocoa, presented a complete offer of their products and services to couples and those who organize links, showing the trends and news in this sector.
Aneury Pilar, director of the event, stressed that the purpose of this fair is to revitalize and replace wedding tourism, providing the setting to establish new strategies in the “Wedding Destination” sector, in Puerto Plata and the North region.
He thanked the support provided by the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic, in the person of Minister David Collado, for believing in the conclave. Also from Aerodom XXI century, from the Administrative Ministry of the Presidency, and from Cadena Hodelpa.
"This year we feel with the fundamental commitment to support the sector hardest hit by the pandemic, for this reason the Puerto Plata Bridal Expo Event, incorporates Tour Operators, travel agents and wedding suppliers, in order to help this segment is reactivated and strengthened, motivating couples to get to know our proposal and hold their wedding event in our destination, taking advantage of the advantages offered by the area ”, he said.
Puerto Plata Bridal also had business rounds and workshops, in charge of the Decology, Vista del Mar, Felícita García brands and culminated in the conservatory, aimed at tour operators and travel agencies, led by Bismarck Morales and Junior Jorge.
Puerto Plata Bridal executives granted a special distinction to Mr. Carlos Rodoli, president of the Association of Hotels, Restaurants and Tourism Companies of the North (Ashonorte), for representing the 21st Century Dominican Airports (AERODOM); Similarly, Juan Melo artistic photography, Ana Disla from Sofia Novias en Grande; the event planner Yndhira Vega de Machín; Mileyka Brugal, from the Chamber of Commerce; Enmanuel de León, from D'León Event Studio; and Anidelfi Rolffot, from Banreservas.
