The airline reported 26% growth compared to 2019, with a load factor of 89%
Volaris (the “Company”) (NYSE: VLRS and BMV: VOLAR), the ultra-low-cost airline operating in Mexico, the United States, Central and South America, reports its preliminary traffic results for November 2021.
In November 2021, the demand in the national and international market for Volaris increased 30.4% and 14.2%, compared to November 2019, respectively. The Company capitalized on the strong market demand to add capacity (ASMs), both nationally (+ 29.9%) and internationally (+ 18.0%), while maintaining a high load factor (88.5%). In November 2021, Volaris carried 2.4 million passengers, 27% more than pre-pandemic levels.
Commenting on the November traffic figures, Volaris CEO and CEO Enrique Beltranena said: "We continue to establish appropriate levels of capacity to meet strong demand from our main leisure travel markets and friends and family visitors. (VFR), operating consistently. "
