FIT closed the doors of a historic edition

The most important International Tourism Fair in Latin America closed its doors after 4 intense days gathering all tourism in one place.
At the close of this edition, the president of FIT, Gustavo Hani, highlighted the importance of having been able to carry out the Fair and highlighted that it far exceeded expectations. After so many complex months for the industry, we were able to meet again and demonstrate the strength of our sector at FIT ”. In this same sense, the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Nation, Matías Lammens affirmed that “FIT is one of the most important Tourism Fairs in the world and we have to be very proud. Without a doubt, this Fair expresses what we have been holding: that tourism is going to be the main protagonist in the recovery of the national economy ”.
In the four days, Saturday and Sunday open to the general public and Monday and Tuesday exclusively for the sector, FIT exceeded 73,000 visitors (with more than 47,000 of the general public and more than 26,000 tourism professionals).
The Fair had the participation of 38 countries; the 24 Argentine provinces 1328 exhibitors (1108 nationals and 220 foreigners); 5 auditoriums in which 114 talks were held.
In addition, the already installed Business Rounds reached 3,674 appointments, with 155 buyers (93 foreigners and 62 nationals) and 364 sellers (347 nationals and 17 foreigners).
The press conference ended with the announcement of the new date: FIT 2022 will take place from October 1-4.
