The leading global event for the meetings, incentives, conferences and events industry takes place at Fira Barcelona

IBTM World is back this year. The event brings together more than 3,000 exhibitors from destinations and suppliers who will hold meetings with more than 15,000 industry professionals from more than 100 countries around the world.

Latest figures show that over 42% of Hosted Buyers confirmed so far are new to IBTM's portfolio, giving exhibitors more opportunities to do business with completely new contacts, and 95% of them will attend IBTM World for the full three days. .

The program also includes specially selected education streams for associations and corporate buyers, as well as sessions as part of IBTM Accelerate, which offers an interactive experience to all visitors showcasing solutions, applications and technologies on industry-specific meetings and events.

In addition, the IBTM Corporate Elite Program will explore key information specifically focused on the needs of corporate Hosted Buyers. Topics include: the future of the meeting experience, resetting events and evaluating their success, and peer-to-peer learning and insights. This personalized program of sessions will take place on the second day and is supported by American Express Meetings & Events.

IBTM World Barcelona has received the status of preferred supplier from the Events Industry Council (EIC) for its knowledge program. This enables delegates to earn Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) points for each educational session they attend.

All attendees must demonstrate proof of COVID-19 status to enter the event in the form of text message, email, or pass to verify proof of completion of a full vaccination cycle (completed at least two weeks prior to the arrival); or evidence of a negative rapid antigen test or a negative PCR result obtained within 72 hours of arrival; or evidence of natural immunity demonstrated by a positive result of the PCR test for COVID-19, with a duration of 180 days from the date of the positive test and after the completion of the self-isolation period. Rapid antigen physical test strips are not considered a valid status test. Foreign visitors can show their proof of vaccination card from their country of origin.
