FITUR confirms its celebration by reinforcing its health protocols
IFEMA Madrid will maximize the security of its great international tourism fair with the application of a strict sanitary protocol
FITUR 2022 will hold, from January 19 to 23, a strategic edition to stimulate the world tourism market, and offer the entire value chain of the tourism industry a stage for business and a global meeting that will contribute to promoting recovery and to the growth of the sector.
For this, IFEMA MADRID will protect your health security and will take extreme measures to guarantee the development of the Fair. In this sense, and in a context marked by the high levels of vaccination that Spain registers, FITUR 2022 will require current documentation from all international participants, such as the Certificate of Vaccination for attendees from the European Union, and the official requirements that are required at the border during the FITUR celebration dates.
With this, IFEMA MADRID, which already demonstrated to the world in May 2021 that it was possible to convene safe events, with the celebration of FITUR 21 in a truly complicated context, will once again deploy a rigorous protocol of measures and systems to guarantee the safety of all exhibitors and visitors. In this way, it will carry out the capacity control in all the pavilions, with automated systems for counting people, and with an intelligent digital system for the analysis of spaces, capacity and behavior of attendees, controlling the crowds at all times, in addition to requiring the mandatory use of a mask inside the IFEMA MADRID facilities, and the temperature control controls that are implemented in all its fairs.
To this is added in a differential way, the provision in the IFEMA MADRID facilities of an advanced and powerful ventilation system that guarantees the total elimination of air recirculation, with a filtration system that produces complete air renewal every 20 minutes , a fundamental and critical element to prevent the spread of pathogens. Measures that are complemented with the organization of the movement of people and the distribution of spaces to guarantee interpersonal safety distance; the distribution of hydroalcoholic gel dispensers and disinfectants throughout the premises, and the use of digital passes to avoid contact.
Organized by IFEMA MADRID, the International Tourism Fair that will occupy eight pavilions of the Madrid fairgrounds, presents, one month after its celebration, excellent participation forecasts, well above the parameters of the extraordinary edition held last May , as well as levels of representativeness and internationality already very close to the editions held before the pandemic. The appointment will be from January 19 to 23, 2022.
