Avianca will reactivate its routes from Madrid to Medellín and Cali
Avianca continues to promote the recovery of the tourism sector and economic activity with the reactivation of its 2 routes that will once again connect the Spanish capital with Medellín and Cali in Colombia non-stop at the end of March 2022.
With the entry into operation of these routes, the company adds 8 flights with more than 2,000 seats per week on the Cali-Madrid-Cali route and 6 flights with more than 1,500 seats per week on the Medellín-Madrid-Medellín route.
The Spanish market is very important for Avianca, through its offer of hyper-competitive prices and a solid network of destinations, the company wants to position itself as the gateway for travelers from the old continent to explore Latin America, promoting tourism and the economy between both regions.
In 2021 alone, the company moved around 174,000 passengers to and from the two main Spanish airports, Barajas-Madrid and El Prat-Barcelona. From these cities, travelers can access one of the most robust networks in Latin America, with an offer of more than 100 routes and 3,400 weekly flights.
Tickets for the new routes from Madrid to Medellín and Cali are already on sale through the Avianca.com website, the MyAvianca mobile application, physical points of sale and the travel agency.
