Debuting in the capital city of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, the hotel has 170 rooms, an indoor pool and more than 1,100 square meters of space for events 

Hilton (NYSE: HLT) announces its expansion into southern Brazil with the opening of the Hilton Porto Alegre - the first Hilton hotel in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Owned by Pateo Moinhos de Vento Administração e Participações, a Zaffari group company and FII Pateo Moinhos de Vento, and managed by Hilton, the 170-room hotel is conveniently located in the Moinhos de Vento neighborhood, one of the most exclusive and trendy part of the city, with plenty of restaurants, shops and entertainment just steps away.

The Hilton Porto Alegre welcomes its guests to a lobby, with a renovated lounge and bar. The hotel will undergo a renovation in the coming months in all its areas, including its spacious rooms that offer space for both productivity and relaxation, with a dedicated area for work and a comfortable environment with luxurious linens, flat-screen TV flat and carefully selected details. For leisure, the hotel has a fully equipped rooftop gym, sauna and indoor heated pool with panoramic views of the city. With two on-site restaurants, guests can enjoy a variety of culinary options including international cuisine and Brazilian flavors, in addition to the lobby bar, open for happy hour.  

Catering to the ever-changing needs of today's business traveler, the Hilton Porto Alegre offers more than 1,100 square meters of flexible meeting space accommodating up to 700 attendees. The hotel also offers top-quality services for events such as high-speed Internet and infrastructure designed to hold videoconferences in all meeting spaces.

Hilton currently has a portfolio of nearly 180 hotels and resorts welcoming travelers in the Caribbean and Latin America, with 11 properties in Brazil, including the recently opened Almenat Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Canopy by Hilton Sao Paulo. Jardins - both represent the brand's debut in South America. Hilton continues to work on finding new growth opportunities in the Caribbean and Latin America and currently has a strong portfolio of approximately 110 hotels throughout the region, including 10 projects in Brazil. This includes Hilton's plans to introduce two new brands in Brazil: Motto by Hilton and Tru by Hilton.
