Airline reinforces its presence at Guarulhos airport to pre-pandemic levels

Air Europa, a European airline with a hub in Madrid (Spain), will reinforce its operations between Brazil and Europe. As of March 28, flights between Guarulhos and Madrid airports will resume daily, returning to pre-pandemic levels.

On the route between São Paulo and Madrid, flight UX58 takes off from Guarulhos airport at 2:05 pm, with a scheduled landing in Madrid at 5:15 am. On the way back, flight UX57 leaves the Spanish capital at 11:45 pm, arriving in Guarulhos at 5:25 am. Flight schedules allow a quick connection in Madrid to several European destinations, such as Barcelona, ​​Porto, Lisbon, Vigo, Zurich, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Rome and Milan, among others.

“The resumption of daily flights between São Paulo and Madrid shows the recovery of the sector and the increase in demand for connections between the region and Europe. We have a high quality service, with new and modern aircraft, which offer much more comfort to the passenger. We already serve 20 destinations in the Americas and we will grow more soon”, says Diego Garcia, General Director for America at Air Europa.

The flight between São Paulo and Madrid is operated with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the most modern equipment on the route and one of the most efficient on the market. The model saves 20% in fuel consumption, emits less carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, reduces cabin noise, shortens travel time and has HEPA air filters, capable of eliminating 99.9% of particles that contain viruses and that allow the cabin air to be in permanent circulation, renewing itself every two minutes.

The aircraft's internal configuration also improves passenger comfort. In business class, seats are arranged 1-2-1, with all seats having aisle access and more privacy. In addition, on all flights departing Madrid, Business passengers can enjoy the menu of the prestigious chef Martín Berasategui, which has 12 Michelin stars. All Air Europa passengers have Wi-Fi service at their disposal, with different options, according to the navigation volume required, streaming and also a complete and varied audiovisual entertainment.

Air Europa offers special conditions on ticket sales. In addition to the payment in 10 interest-free installments, all tickets allow a change of date, time, origin and destination for free, paying only the difference in the fare, if the original amount is not available, without penalties up to seven days before the trip.
