Medellín projects revenues of 17 million dollars with the holding of events in 2022

Medellín will receive revenues of approximately 17 million dollars as a result of holding 38 national and international events that are scheduled in the city for the remainder of 2022, which were captured by the Municipal Administration and the Bureau.
These events are of a corporate, associative, economic, educational, sports, academic and health nature, in which an attendance of 50,000 people is expected, including locals and national and international visitors.
“This will benefit sectors such as hotels, commerce, transportation, entertainment, among many others. In addition, the knowledge that remains in the city after hosting these events is invaluable, as well as the positive national and international visibility that Medellin achieves,” said Undersecretary of Tourism, Ledys López Zapata.
