A large number of international delegates return to IPW 2022
From June 4 to 8, a new edition of IPW will be held in Orlando, receiving twice as many international travel buyers and media than last year
Two months before the opening of IPW, the US Travel Association's annual international trade show, figures shared by the association reveal a strong return of international buyers and media for the 2022 event, which will be held in Orlando, Florida, from June 4 to 8. With ten weeks to go, registrations from international buyers and media have almost doubled the number of international delegates from last year.
As of March 25, 712 international buyers and 364 media outlets from 62 countries have signed up to attend IPW. With the addition of 280 national buyers and 70 national media outlets, more than 1,400 international and national buyers and media outlets have signed up for IPW 2022.
The countries that will send the largest international delegations in 2022 are the United Kingdom, Brazil and Canada.
With registration still open, the number of global participants is expected to continue to grow.
"The message these numbers send us is: the world of travel is ready to return to the United States," said Malcolm Smith, CEO of IPW. "If the revival of international visits is important to your destination or business, don't miss this year's IPW."

An international arrivals forecast from US Travel projects that 52 million people will visit the United States in 2022 (up 144 percent from 2021) and 68 million will do so in 2023 (up 30 percent from 2022).
IPW is the nation's leading international inbound travel trade show, driving $5.5 billion in future travel to the United States. At IPW, travel buyers (including international tour operators, wholesalers, and inbound operators) meet face-to-face with sellers of United States travel products (representing accommodations, destinations, attractions, retailers, transportation companies, and plus) for future travel transactions.
