Panama presented its adventure tourism model to US tour operators

In the presence of tour operators from the adventure tourism segment and important American social media, the administrator of the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP), Iván Eskildsen, presented the new adventure tourism model of Panama, with which commitment to innovation and sustainability.
The meeting, which took place in the city of Los Angeles, United States, included networking sessions with tour operators and travel agents from the west coast of the northern country, a market prone to conscientious tourists interested in caring for natural resources and the authentic culture of the communities.
After knowing the tourist potential of the Panamanian isthmus, the American businessmen showed their interest in establishing alliances with the Panamanian businessmen, members of the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), communicated the General Administrator of the ATP.
For their part, the Panamanian businessmen, who attended the novel and interactive sessions, expressed the positive of direct contact with North American companies.
Backed by its Sustainable Tourism Master Plan 2020-2025 and under the direction of the ATP Administrator, Panama is carrying out ambitious plans to preserve and protect its natural resources and connect travelers with communities, culture and nature across through improved infrastructure and access to iconic experiences.
For this reason, said plan was recognized by UNESCO as an example of innovation and sustainability, it reactivates the Tourism, Conservation and Research Strategy of Panama to highlight the three fundamental pillars of the country's heritage. These include Cultural Heritage (multifaceted culture), Green Heritage (extraordinary biodiversity), and Blue Heritage (wonders of the ocean).
PROMTUR Panama, in charge of international promotion and attracting tourists to the country, presented the new tourism brand platform "Live for More".
Recently, Panama was recognized with the Tourism Excellence Award for its Indigenous Circuit at the International Tourism Fair, FITUR 2022.
