At WTM Latin America, Argentina has a 300m2 stand and the delegation participates with the aim of generating marketing and achieving more connectivity between the two countries in order to recover pre-pandemic levels of receptive tourism and overcome them.

15 destinations in Argentina participate, showing their tourism offer to the most important Tour Operators and agencies in Brazil, and more than 30 tourism service providers convened by the Argentine Chamber of Tourism have their meeting spaces in search of new business.
Minister Lammens stated: “Brazil is the main source market for tourists to our country and coming to WTM Latin America is very important because we have great expectations to generate new business. It is a great challenge to recover all receptive tourism. We want to have more flights and not only that they arrive in Buenos Aires. We have the challenge of generating routes and connectivity to more Argentine destinations. Our strategic plan is for tourism to be one of the engines of Argentina's economic recovery and development, and Brazilian tourism is decisive in that."

For his part, the Executive Secretary of INPROTUR, Ricardo Sosa, declared: “We see that the arrivals of Brazilians have been increasing and we can say that since the opening of borders in October 2021 to the present, more than 400,000 Brazilian tourists have arrived in our country, which which means an increase of 25% compared to the same dates of the pre-pandemic. Receiving this award fills us with pride for the effort made by the entire delegation and businessmen to continue betting on tourism. For us it is not only an award for the stand, it is an award for the work that our team does and that we are going to continue with an exhaustive 2022 plan”.

The national authorities were able to meet with airlines such as Gol, Ethiopian Airlines, Qatar Airways, LATAM, Azul, and with companies such as CVC, Decolar, Braztoa, among others.
The stand has an imposing LED screen on the front where visitors could enter and take pictures with landscapes of Argentina.
