Viva, the 'Super Low Cost' airline, launches two new routes from Buenos Aires to Medellín and Bogotá with launch prices never seen before on these routes that range from USD249 to Medellín, and USD229 to Bogotá, generating a price decrease of tickets on both routes of 40% (known as the Viva Effect), allowing Argentines and Colombians to connect with the best market prices and on time.

Likewise, it becomes the first operator of the direct route Buenos Aires - Medellin, which will also be the gateway to connect Argentine travelers with the rest of the continent, to cities such as Miami, Mexico City, Cancun and Punta Cana, through its Connections Center, 'Hub Medellín'.

“The opening of Buenos Aires as a new international destination for Viva is particularly important for us and for me as an Argentine, since we will be the only airline that operates the Medellín-Buenos Aires route directly and best of all, with our characteristic low prices. that will make this destination more accessible for Colombians. The new routes that will begin operations on June 15, 2022, will arrive at the Ezeiza International Airport and expect to transport 140,000 passengers in their first year of operations.

Finally, with these launches, Viva reaches 46 domestic routes in Colombia and Peru, and 14 international routes to the United States, Mexico, Peru, the Dominican Republic, Argentina and Brazil, thereby strengthening its growth plans to generate more levels of connectivity and development in the continent.
