Adventure Elevate brings together North America's top leaders and professionals in ecotourism and adventure travel

The National Parks of Brazil will be present at Adventure Elevate 2022, the most important adventure tourism event in the United States, between May 3 and 5. The theme will be brought by Embratur to the annual conference that brings together leaders and decision makers who shape the ecotourism and adventure tourism sector, including tour operators and agencies.

During the three-day event, in the city of Oregon, Arizona, the Agency will make presentations on the country's National Parks, will organize meetings with international trade and will have its own space to serve the public.

Brazil selected 15 parks for promotion in Elevate, through a Technical Cooperation Agreement with the Ministries of Tourism and Environment, as well as the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio). They are: Tijuca National Park (RJ), Iguaçu National Park (PR), Serra dos Órgãos National Park (RJ), Fernando de Noronha Marine National Park (PE), Anavilhanas National Park (AM), Chapada dos Guimarães National Park (MT ), Brasilia National Park (DF), Jericoacoara National Park (CE), Itatiaia National Park (RJ), Serra da Bocaina National Park (RJ/SP), Lençóis Maranhenses National Park (MA), Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park (GO) , Aparados da Serra National Park (RS/SC), Serra do Itajaí National Park (SC) and Serra do Cipó National Park (MG).

The visa waiver for tourists from the United States and Canada will also be publicized as an incentive for the North American and Canadian public to visit Brazil.

Organized by the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), one of the world's leading adventure travel associations, Adventure Elevate is an annual North American-based business, networking and education conference.

In 2021, the event took place in the city of Sedona, Arizona, and was also attended by Embratur. The conference brought together the main actors of North American tourism, such as operators, travel consultants, press, directories and representatives of international tourism.
