Sabre advances in the hotel trade with the acquisition of Nuvola
Nuvola's dynamic task management and operational capabilities will facilitate Sabre's innovative vision for the future of hospitality retail
Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR), a leading provider of software and technology that powers the global travel industry, today announced the acquisition of Nuvola, a leading provider of hotel service optimization and guest engagement software for hoteliers worldwide. The transaction includes Nuvola's technology and guest enablement software, as well as the integration of Nuvola employees with Saber. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Leveraging Nuvola's solutions, Saber hopes to advance its hospitality sales and marketing strategy, as well as expand its ownership and operations capabilities. Nuvola's capabilities will help address on-property enforcement challenges created when hoteliers offer a wide variety of add-ons and attributes. Solving this critical need will allow hoteliers to expand their offerings through Saber's comprehensive sales, marketing and fulfillment capabilities.
