Disney celebrates its 50th anniversary with customers and media from around the world
The company invited more than 600 customers and media representatives to Orlando to present news and celebrate a magical moment together
Last week has not been another in the history of Walt Disney World, the company invited more than 600 customers and media from around the world to celebrate the 50th Anniversary.
The visit consisted of 3 and a half days that included a guided tour of the attractions and the international launch of the new attraction full of technology called "Guardian of the Galaxy" which was inaugurated with a massive party.
The coordination has been in charge of Idalis Mercado, Public Relations Manager for Latin America who, together with a large group of representatives from different areas, has guided, accompanied, explained and given us access to each attraction without letting any detail escape.
The tour began on May 3 with a visit to EPCOT with dinner at Tutto Italia Ristorante. Then they invited to enjoy the Nightime Experience: New “Harmonius”, a music and light show with fireworks, fountains, light effects, lasers and more in the World Showcase Lagoon.
On May 4, the day opened with a visit to the Magic Kingdom with the presentation of the 50th Anniversary celebration at the Comtemporary Hotel Convention Center where there were stations for each park. There, the invited press was able to learn about the main novelties of Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, Disney Hollywood and Disney Springs.
They also presented the Magic Band+, a smart bracelet that allows access to rooms, parks and various additional benefits.
Finally, they provided details about the new technology developed in conjunction with Amazon Alexa.
In addition, the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and a visit to different attractions such as Space Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Mission Space were held.
On May 5, the day began at EPCOT to attend the international press launch party for “Guardian of the Galaxy,” the main attraction presented by the 50th anniversary celebration. There was also a tour of attractions such as Soarin Around the World, Speed Track, Guardian of the Galaxy, Frozen Even After, Mission Space, Speed Track and Ratatouille.
On May 6, lunch was held at the Yak & Teti Restaurant and then a visit to attractions such as Avatar Flight of Passage and Kilimanjaro Safari.
The closing was done with the festival of lights and fireworks at Magic Kingdom "Disney Enchantment".
