The announcement has been made within the framework of the celebration of DATE 2022 in Punta Cana

As part of the celebration of DATE (Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange), BDExperience, Grupo Despegar's agency for receptive services, excursions and MC (Destination Management Company), and WestJet Vacations, the leading tour operator in the Canadian market, announced the signing of a recent strategic alliance.

"For BDExperience, this new alliance represents a very important step in the growth strategy in a market as relevant to us as Canada is. Our priority is to offer an excellent, personalized and differentiated service to passengers, through the organization, marketing and operation of the best experiences" said Rosangel Rodriguez Brenes, Destination Director of BDExperience in the Dominican Republic.

For his part, Juan Tomas Diaz Infante, President of BDExperience added "We are confident that our country will focus on diversifying markets by establishing commercial ties with Canada and Latin America so that more and more travelers have the opportunity to explore the benefits of Dominican Republic".

Despegar, through its BDExperience business line, has state-of-the-art technology, a varied portfolio of more than 200 products at destination and more than 35 years of experience in operation and first-class service.

DATE, has brought together tour operators, hoteliers and suppliers from more than 25 countries, it took place from May 11 to 13 at the Barceló Bavaro Convention Center and, on this occasion, BDExperience participated with the Gray Line and Despegar brands, present in markets of USA, Latin America and Europe.
