New Summer Festival kicks off this weekend at Busch Gardens Tampa
The celebration will take place every day from Friday, May 27 to Sunday, August 7
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will premiere this Friday (27) its new summer festival Summer Celebration. The launch will coincide with the US holiday of Memorial Day, which is celebrated on May 30.
The park will feature a variety of entertainment throughout the day, including the return of "Cirque Electric" and "Gwazi Beats," a new acrobatic show that combines dancers and stilt performers in an electrifying display of music and dance. Plus, the award-winning ice skating show “Turn It Up!” will resume daily performances at the Moroccan Palace Theater.
During the summer, guests 21 and older can enjoy a free beer sample at Pantopia Drinks & Snacks. For those looking for something refreshing – and sweet – to beat the heat, Moroccan Delights will reopen with a fresh look and mouth-watering treats like themed hand-crafted smoothies, specialty ice creams and more.
After sunset, the park sparkles with lots of light and music, and of course the thrill of riding roller coasters in the dark, like the new Iron Gwazi. Visitors can dance to DJs throughout the park, including a new themed plaza presented by Coca-Cola®. For the epic finale to an exciting day full of adventure, guests will feel the vibrant energy radiating from a new production at Festival Field. As the most dazzling spectacle to light up the park sky, the fireworks show will feature an explosive array of colors and dazzling effects, from lasers to mesmerizing fountains and pyrotechnics. This one-of-a-kind show will take place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays starting at 9:15 p.m., between May 27 and August 7.
