Committed to increasing the presence of foreign tourists in Brazil, Embratur begins, next Monday (6/6), a series of roadshows in South America. The first takes place in Montevideo, Uruguay, when the Agency will promote training rounds with around 90 tour operators, agents, entities and associations.

The roadshows, which are held in partnership with Sebrae, aim to expand the marketing of Brazilian tourism products and destinations outside the country and generate new business for the itineraries and companies that make up the sector.

In addition to training on national destinations, the agenda includes business roundtables between local businesses and Brazilian businesses. After this stage, there is room for interaction between foreign and national companies to advance possible business.

The cycle of roadshows throughout South America continues with programs in Asunción (6/8), Buenos Aires (6/9), Santiago (14/6) and Bogotá (16/6). The South American agenda also includes meetings with tourism market operators at the Brazilian Embassies in Buenos Aires (10/6) and Santiago (13/6).

Training rounds and other activities with operators, agents, entities and tourism associations in cities in the United States and Canada are also planned in June. The script involves road shows in Chicago, New York, Miami, Las Vegas and Toronto.

Other actions

In addition to the cycle of roadshows, Embratur promotes other actions to publicize the country in the sphere of partnership with Sebrae. The first acts took place during two major international fairs: BTL Lisboa (Portugal), in March, and BIT Milano (Italy), in April.

The initiatives to continue increasing the interest of foreign travelers in Brazil are reinforced between the months of May and July with press trips, as well as campaigns for priority markets. In the United States, an action has been carried out since May 24, with the slogan “Visit Brazil. The wow experience." In Europe and Latin America, the new campaigns to strengthen the promotion of Brazilian destinations will air in the second half of the year.
