Iberostar Hotels & Resorts presents its MICE offer at FIEXPO
The hotel chain has a stand at the event that takes place in Panama. There where it promotes its "Responsible Meetings" initiative
Iberostar Hotels & Resorts once again had a presence at FIEXPO Latin America, which is being held from June 13 to 16 in Panama. The hotel chain presents its MICE offer known as Responsible Meetings, at stand E03 of the fair where destinations and suppliers specialized in the meetings, events and incentives industry will connect with the most outstanding buyers at a regional level.
Responsible Meetings by Iberostar is a more responsible, innovative, sustainable and modern way of meeting. Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, which leads a responsible tourism model in its more than 100 hotels in 16 countries around the world, has created a new way to offer meetings, incentive trips, conventions or unique and unforgettable events connected to sustainability. With this increasingly “green” event offering, guests will enjoy everything from luxury services, personalized attention, healthy, locally sourced cuisine and a variety of entertainment options.
Sustainability is embedded in the company's operations and customer experience globally. Therefore, this MICE proposal is an active part of Iberostar's commitment to promoting a responsible tourism business model. The Group continues to firmly promote its major commitments linked to its own 2030 Agenda that has three main objectives: commitment to the circular economy (Iberostar will stop generating waste sent to landfill by 2025 and will be carbon neutral by 2030) ; promotion of responsible consumption of fish and shellfish (its consumption will be 100% from responsible sources in 2025); and the improvement of the coastal health of all the ecosystems that surround its hotels.
Another of Iberostar's novelties for events is the redefinition of the wedding offer by presenting Weddings By Iberostar as Imagined By You, the new wedding and honeymoon program. In order to enrich the customer experience and promote sustainability, this new program, framed within the responsible tourism proposal, personalizes the experience of couples and their guests.
